Been a while...

 So... yeah it has been quite a while since I have posted on here... and seeing as no one noticed, I guess that is okay!

So just to update a little... Book 2 first draft is finished and going to my editor next month! The book cover is being worked on as I type this... so lots going on and I am pretty excited about getting the second book of The Tales of Iryvalya out to you as soon as possible!

Writing Streak...

Been on an AMAZING writing streak today! Just finished Chapter 11! It took me a little longer than normal, because something big is coming and there is some changes afoot! Can't wait to work on Chapter 12!

Opening up...

I am nervous to post this to the whole world, but I want to be open and honest with my readers/followers and also perhaps help anyone else who has struggled with weight issues…

Most that know me, know I have struggled my whole life with my weight, I have never been “skinny” or “thin”, or hell even “average” or “normal” weight. So, without tell many people (there were only a handful of those who knew) in 2016 I had an elective surgery that was really hard for me to decide to have… I had the Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy surgery, AKA Weight Loss Surgery… Part of the reason I haven’t told people, is because I was so embarrassed that I needed this, that people would think I didn’t try so many other ways (and believe me I have) to lose weight, and they would think this was the “easy way out”… well, this was not the easy way out by far, however it was the best choice for me so I could get healthy for myself and my family.

Big thank you to all who have supported me on this journey so far, I couldn’t have done it without you! And a very special thanks to my husband Joe for his constant support in me doing what is best for my health!

I want to share my journey with my weight loss journey as well as everything with my book and upcoming novel. Please feel free to ask me any questions!

Painting fun night

Had a blast last night at Painting with a Twist​ with one of my very long-time friends!!! Thank you so much for suggesting it Em! I definitely recommend Painting with a Twist (GR,MI) if you're interested! Kaylin was our Artist teacher and was amazing! Very energetic and definitely had us laughing with Timon & Pumbaa!

How is today the last day of August? The summer has seemed to have flown by so quickly... Now we are preparing for school days ahead, as well as the beautiful Michigan leaves preparing to dazzle us with their color displays. I know not everyone loves the fall, but it is definitely my favorite time of the year! I love the changing colors of the trees and that cool crisp feeling in the air. There is also something magical in the air with all the pumpkins around, and the yummy fresh apple cider!

I will miss the lazy days of summer of course, and getting to spend more time with the kids, but I will embrace the new season with cups of my favorite tea sitting next to me as I continue to work on book 2!

I hope you all have had a wonderful summer and are ready to enjoy the new season!
