I am nervous to post this to the whole world, but I want to
be open and honest with my readers/followers and also perhaps help anyone else
who has struggled with weight issues…
Most that know me, know I have struggled my whole life with
my weight, I have never been “skinny” or “thin”, or hell even “average” or
“normal” weight. So, without tell many people (there were only a handful of
those who knew) in 2016 I had an elective surgery that was really hard for me
to decide to have… I had the Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy surgery, AKA Weight
Loss Surgery… Part of the reason I haven’t told people, is because I was so
embarrassed that I needed this, that people would think I didn’t try so many
other ways (and believe me I have) to lose weight, and they would think this
was the “easy way out”… well, this was not the easy way out by far, however it
was the best choice for me so I could get healthy for myself and my family.

husband Joe for his constant support in me doing what is best for my health!
